The sources for the ratings for top midsized sedans include JD Power, Consumer Reports, Car and Driver, Motor Trend, and MotorWeek.
Note not all of the autos in the list below was rated by all of these sources. MotorWeek, for example, has a list of "Drivers' Choice Awards" that selected only one car for each category.
An aggregate rating was devised by utilizing the Bayesian average method. This was applied to numerical ratings corresponding to each top review.
Based on this method, the 2025 Toyota Camry was the top rated midsized sedan, as they led with a score of 8.81. Second rated car was Honda Accord, with a score of 8.69
